Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 tablespoon)
Instructions:
- Melt the butter in the skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30-60 seconds, or until fragrant (but not browned – burnt garlic is no bueno!). Remove from heat.
- Return the skillet to high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until nicely browned on all sides and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Reduce the heat to low. Return the skillet to low heat, Pour the garlic butter over the steak bites and toss to coat evenly. Serve immediately.
