Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 6 tablespoons ice water
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- ¼ cup buffalo sauce
- ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Add cold, cubed butter; cut into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add ice water, mixing until a dough forms.
- Press into a disk, wrap in plastic, and chill for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing until well incorporated.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll chilled dough onto a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness.
- Cut dough into rectangles (about 4 inches by 6 inches).
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each rectangle.
- Fold dough over filling, sealing edges with a fork.
- Brush tops with melted butter if desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
