Ingredients:
- 2 ¼ cups (280 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup (150 g) granulated sugar
- ¾ cup (165 g) packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups (340 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time until thoroughly combined.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spaced apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are slightly soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
