Ingredients:
- 500g fresh or frozen blackberries
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 200g all-purpose flour
- 100g cold, unsalted butter, cut into ½-inch cubes
- 100g granulated sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Combine flour and cold butter in a bowl (or food processor). Rub butter into flour until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Stir in sugar. Set aside.
- Place blackberries in the baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar and flour. Add lemon juice and stir to combine.
- Sprinkle crumble topping evenly over the blackberry mixture. Ensure good coverage.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
