Ingredients:

  • 115g unsalted butter, melted
  • 15g fresh garlic, minced
  • 1.5g salt
  • 2g dried parsley
  • 450g French bread
  • 225g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 25g grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Using a serrated knife, slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and place both halves cut-side up on the prepared sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and parsley. Stir until the garlic is evenly suspended in the butter.
  4. Using a brush or spoon, generously coat the cut sides of the bread, ensuring the butter seeps into the edges.
  5. Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella over the buttered surface, then sprinkle the Parmesan on top.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the bread are a deep mahogany gold.
  7. For extra crispiness, broil for the final 60 seconds, watching closely to avoid burning.
