Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs (approx. 240g)
  • 1/4 cup (30g) shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) unsalted butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Fresh herbs (chives or parsley) for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk the eggs until the yolks and whites are fully combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
  4. Add the unsalted butter and allow it to melt, swirling to coat the pan.
  5. Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet.
  6. Stir gently with a spatula, pushing the eggs from the edges toward the center.
  7. Add the cheese when the eggs are still slightly runny, continuing to stir until the cheese melts and the eggs are softly scrambled (about 3-4 minutes).
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  9. Plate and enjoy immediately while warm.
