Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs (approx. 240g)
- 1/4 cup (30g) shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
- 1 tablespoon (15g) unsalted butter
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Optional: Fresh herbs (chives or parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
- Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl.
- Whisk the eggs until the yolks and whites are fully combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add the unsalted butter and allow it to melt, swirling to coat the pan.
- Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet.
- Stir gently with a spatula, pushing the eggs from the edges toward the center.
- Add the cheese when the eggs are still slightly runny, continuing to stir until the cheese melts and the eggs are softly scrambled (about 3-4 minutes).
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
- Plate and enjoy immediately while warm.
