Ingredients:

  • 4 medium apples (Granny Smith or Braeburn)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons erythritol
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup erythritol
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) cold unsalted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C / Gas Mark 5).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, erythritol, and water. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  3. Transfer the apple mixture to the baking dish, spreading it in an even layer.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, combine almond flour, chopped almonds, rolled oats, erythritol, and cinnamon.
  5. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apple filling.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  8. Let the crumble cool slightly before serving.
