Ingredients:
- 2 scoops of high-quality vanilla ice cream (about 150g)
- 1 cup (240ml) of freshly brewed espresso (or strong coffee)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) of coffee liqueur (optional)
- Cocoa powder, chocolate shavings, or crushed nuts (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
- Brew the espresso using an espresso machine or coffee maker. If using a French press, steep for 4 minutes.
- Place 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in a glass or cup per serving. Optionally drizzle coffee liqueur over the ice cream.
- Carefully pour the freshly brewed espresso over the ice cream, allowing it to 'drown' the scoops.
- Garnish with cocoa powder, chocolate shavings, or crushed nuts if desired and serve immediately with a spoon.
