Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (100g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnishing)
Instructions:
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
- Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant (do not brown).
- Slowly whisk in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Gradually add in the grated Parmesan cheese while continuously stirring until fully melted and combined.
- Taste and season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to your preference.
- Serve immediately over cooked pasta or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
