Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnishing)

Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
  2. Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant (do not brown).
  3. Slowly whisk in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Gradually add in the grated Parmesan cheese while continuously stirring until fully melted and combined.
  5. Taste and season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to your preference.
  6. Serve immediately over cooked pasta or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
