Ingredients:

  • 1 shot (1 ounce or 30 ml) of freshly brewed espresso
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) of Licor 43 (or brandy)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 grams) of sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Optional: 1 dash of cinnamon or a twist of lemon peel for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Brew 1 shot of espresso using an espresso machine or coffee maker. Ensure the espresso is fresh and hot.
  2. Select a small glass or mug, ideally a heatproof one.
  3. Pour the shot of Licor 43 (or brandy) into the glass. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved.
  4. Gently pour the hot espresso over the Licor and sugar mixture.
  5. Add a dash of cinnamon or a twist of lemon peel for an aromatic touch.
  6. Serve immediately while hot, and enjoy your warming Carajillo!
