Ingredients:
- 1 shot (1 ounce or 30 ml) of freshly brewed espresso
- 1 ounce (30 ml) of Licor 43 (or brandy)
- 1 teaspoon (5 grams) of sugar (adjust to taste)
- Optional: 1 dash of cinnamon or a twist of lemon peel for garnish
Instructions:
- Brew 1 shot of espresso using an espresso machine or coffee maker. Ensure the espresso is fresh and hot.
- Select a small glass or mug, ideally a heatproof one.
- Pour the shot of Licor 43 (or brandy) into the glass. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Gently pour the hot espresso over the Licor and sugar mixture.
- Add a dash of cinnamon or a twist of lemon peel for an aromatic touch.
- Serve immediately while hot, and enjoy your warming Carajillo!
