Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise (preferably full-fat)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickles or sweet pickles
  • 1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chopped pickles, capers, and Dijon mustard.
  2. Squeeze in the lemon juice and fold in the fresh dill.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld.
  6. Serve chilled alongside your favourite fried fish or seafood dishes.
