Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons sodium percarbonate (30g)
- 4 cups hot water (946 mL)
- 1 cup white vinegar (240 mL) (Optional for extra freshness)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of sodium percarbonate with 4 cups of hot water. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Pour the cleaning solution into the tea makers reservoir. Allow it to soak for 15-20 minutes.
- After soaking, use a soft scrub brush or sponge to scrub the interior surfaces of the tea maker.
- Empty the cleaning solution and rinse the tea maker thoroughly with clean water.
- For added freshness, rinse with 1 cup of white vinegar, letting it sit for 5 minutes before rinsing again.
- Wipe the exterior and interior with a microfiber cloth or paper towel. Leave the lid open to air dry completely.
