Ingredients:
- Plastic Bag Dispenser (shop bought or DIY)
- Screws/nails (if mounting)
- Double sided tape (if mounting)
- Fabric of your choice (approximately 1/2 metre)
- Sewing machine (or needle and thread for hand sewing)
- Elastic (for top and bottom of bag)
- Scissors
- Empty tissue box (or similar sized cardboard box)
- Glue or tape (to reinforce box if needed)
- Drawer dividers (adjustable or fixed)
- Non-slip liner (optional)
- Grocery bags
Instructions:
- Method 1: Plastic Bag Dispenser (Shop-Bought or DIY): A. Purchased Dispenser: Mount the dispenser according to the manufacturer's instructions. B. DIY Dispenser: Decorate a container, cut openings, and mount. C. Stuff bags into the top and pull from the bottom.
- Method 2: Hanging Fabric Bag (DIY): A. Cut fabric to size. B. Sew the side seam. C. Create a hem for elastic. D. Insert elastic and secure. E. Attach a loop for hanging. F. Hang and fill with bags.
- Method 3: The Stuff-It Method (Repurposed Box): A. Choose an empty tissue box. B. Reinforce with tape if needed. C. Stuff grocery bags into the box. D. Pull bags out one at a time.
- Method 4: Drawer Organiser (Dedicated Drawer): A. Clear out a drawer. B. Install drawer dividers. C. Fold or roll grocery bags and place them in compartments.
- Method 5: The Artful Fold (Marie Kondo Style): A. Lay a bag flat. B. Fold in half lengthwise. C. Fold in half again. D. Fold into thirds. E. Stand folded bags upright in a container.
