Ingredients:
- 354g Canned chicken breast, drained and patted dry
- 113g Cottage cheese
- 1 large egg
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 0.25 tsp sea salt
- 20g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 79ml low-sugar Marinara sauce
- 113g shredded part-skim Mozzarella cheese
- fresh basil
- red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Thoroughly drain the canned chicken and press it firmly between paper towels until it is completely dry to the touch.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the dried chicken, cottage cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, and spices.
- Mix the ingredients vigorously until a uniform paste forms.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared parchment paper into a thin, even circle or rectangle about 1cm thick.
- Bake the crust for 20 minutes until golden brown and firm. Add marinara and mozzarella, then bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Rest the pizza for 5 minutes before slicing to allow the internal structure to solidify.
