Ingredients:

  • 354g Canned chicken breast, drained and patted dry
  • 113g Cottage cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp sea salt
  • 20g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 79ml low-sugar Marinara sauce
  • 113g shredded part-skim Mozzarella cheese
  • fresh basil
  • red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Thoroughly drain the canned chicken and press it firmly between paper towels until it is completely dry to the touch.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the dried chicken, cottage cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, and spices.
  4. Mix the ingredients vigorously until a uniform paste forms.
  5. Spread the mixture onto the prepared parchment paper into a thin, even circle or rectangle about 1cm thick.
  6. Bake the crust for 20 minutes until golden brown and firm. Add marinara and mozzarella, then bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Rest the pizza for 5 minutes before slicing to allow the internal structure to solidify.
