Ingredients:

  • 1 lb imitation crab meat, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease an 8x8 baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Finely dice the celery and green onions, and chop the imitation crab into consistent 1/2-inch pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and melted butter until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
  4. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped imitation crab, diced celery, and green onions using a spatula until fully coated.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses across the surface.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the cheese is a light mahogany-gold color.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
