Ingredients:
- 1 lb imitation crab meat, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
- 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease an 8x8 baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
- Finely dice the celery and green onions, and chop the imitation crab into consistent 1/2-inch pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and melted butter until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
- Stir in the garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
- Gently fold in the chopped imitation crab, diced celery, and green onions using a spatula until fully coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses across the surface.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the cheese is a light mahogany-gold color.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
