Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cold heavy whipping cream (480 ml)
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk (about 396 g)
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract (10 ml)
  • 1/8 teaspoon pinch of salt (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (90 g) (optional)
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries or crushed cookies (about 75-100 g) (optional)
  • 1/3 cup swirls of caramel or fudge sauce (80 ml) (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Pour cold heavy cream into a large mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer, whisk on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, stir together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Gently fold one-third of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture to lighten it. Carefully fold in the remaining whipped cream until fully combined.
  4. Gently fold in optional mix-ins such as chocolate chips, berries, or flavor swirls.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a freezer-safe container and spread evenly. Cover with lid or plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  6. Remove from freezer about 5 minutes before scooping to soften slightly. Scoop and enjoy.
