Instructions:
- Slice the imitation crab into uniform 1-inch segments to ensure even cooking.
- In a medium bowl, toss the crab segments with melted butter, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until every piece is thinly coated.
- Dredge each piece in the seasoned flour, shaking off the excess.
- Dip the floured crab into the beaten eggs.
- Press the crab firmly into the Panko breadcrumbs, ensuring the sides are fully encased for a consistent crust.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the bites in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between each piece for airflow.
- Lightly spray the tops with cooking oil.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the exterior is mahogany-colored and feels firm to the touch.
