Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chicken wings, split at the joint
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken wings dry using paper towels.
- Place wings in a large bowl and add baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Lay the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them dry out.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack of the baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, then flip and bake for another 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in hot sauce and honey until well combined.
- Remove wings from oven and toss in the prepared sauce until evenly coated. Optionally, return wings to the oven for an additional 5 minutes for a caramelised finish.
