Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chicken wings (900 g)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (15 g)
- 1 teaspoon salt (5 g)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (3 g)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (3 g)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper (2 g)
- ½ cup honey (170 g)
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (30 ml)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (3 g)
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Pat wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Toss wings in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated. Arrange wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or on a wire rack.
- Chill the wings in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to enhance crispiness.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Bake wings for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While wings bake, in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and chili flakes. Stir until heated through and slightly thickened.
- Remove wings from the oven and toss in the glaze while still hot. Serve immediately, garnished with optional parsley or sesame seeds.
