Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings (900 g)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (15 g)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (3 g)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (3 g)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (2 g)
  • ½ cup honey (170 g)
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (3 g)
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Pat wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  2. Toss wings in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated. Arrange wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or on a wire rack.
  3. Chill the wings in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to enhance crispiness.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Bake wings for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While wings bake, in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and chili flakes. Stir until heated through and slightly thickened.
  6. Remove wings from the oven and toss in the glaze while still hot. Serve immediately, garnished with optional parsley or sesame seeds.
