- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
- Fresh lemon zest and juice, optional for serving
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse the green beans thoroughly under cold water, then trim the ends.
- In a mixing bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until evenly coated.
- Arrange the green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the beans are tender and charred to your preference.
- Remove from oven, add optional lemon zest and juice, then serve warm.
