- 1 cup (240 ml) low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream (optional for creaminess)
Instructions:
- Gather all ingredients and equipment.
- Place frozen chicken breasts into the bottom of the Crock Pot.
- In a small bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix with chicken broth.
- Pour the ranch broth mixture over the frozen chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken shreds easily.
- Stir in heavy cream for a richer sauce, if desired.
- Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the pot, mixing thoroughly with the sauce.
