Ingredients:

  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped (about 200g)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (about 150g)
  • ½ cup cucumber, diced (about 100g)
  • ½ cup red onion, finely diced (about 80g)
  • ¾ cup green bell pepper, diced (about 100g)
  • ½ cup black olives, pitted and sliced (about 75g)
  • ½ cup salami, diced (about 75g)
  • ½ cup provolone cheese, diced (about 75g)
  • ¼ cup olive oil (about 60ml)
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar (about 30ml)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and chop the romaine lettuce. Halve the cherry tomatoes, dice the cucumber, and finely chop the red onion and green bell pepper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, bell pepper, olives, salami, and provolone cheese.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt and pepper.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to combine.
  5. Divide the salad into bowls and serve immediately, or chill briefly before serving for enhanced flavors.
