Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) milk
  • 1 1/2 cups (180 g) all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons (85 g) unsalted butter, melted, plus more for greasing the pan
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
  • Fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries), as desired
  • Lemon wedges, for squeezing

Instructions:

  1. Place oven rack in the center position. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grease the skillet or baking dish generously with butter.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, flour, and salt until smooth. A few small lumps are okay.
  4. Whisk in the melted butter until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared skillet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the Dutch Baby is puffed up, golden brown, and set in the center. Watch carefully, as oven temperatures can vary.
  6. Remove from oven and dust generously with powdered sugar. Serve immediately with fresh berries and lemon wedges, if desired.
