Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (200g) plain white granulated sugar
  • 4 cups (950ml) water

Instructions:

  1. Measure 1 cup of white granulated sugar. Note: Use a dry cup to prevent clumping.
  2. Pour 4 cups of water into your saucepan.
  3. Add the sugar to the water.
  4. Whisk the mixture briefly. Until the sugar is evenly distributed across the bottom.
  5. Place the pan over medium heat.
  6. Stir the liquid constantly. Note: This prevents the sugar from scorching on the bottom.
  7. Heat for 3 mins until the liquid becomes completely transparent.
  8. Remove the pan from the heat immediately. Note: Ensure it does not reach a rolling boil.
  9. Let the Fruit Nectar sit on the counter. Until it reaches room temperature.
  10. Pour the cooled syrup into your clean feeders.
