Ingredients:
- 1 cup (200g) plain white granulated sugar
- 4 cups (950ml) water
Instructions:
- Measure 1 cup of white granulated sugar. Note: Use a dry cup to prevent clumping.
- Pour 4 cups of water into your saucepan.
- Add the sugar to the water.
- Whisk the mixture briefly. Until the sugar is evenly distributed across the bottom.
- Place the pan over medium heat.
- Stir the liquid constantly. Note: This prevents the sugar from scorching on the bottom.
- Heat for 3 mins until the liquid becomes completely transparent.
- Remove the pan from the heat immediately. Note: Ensure it does not reach a rolling boil.
- Let the Fruit Nectar sit on the counter. Until it reaches room temperature.
- Pour the cooled syrup into your clean feeders.
