Ingredients:
- 227g unsalted butter, softened
- 150g granulated sugar
- 150g packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 10ml vanilla extract
- 360g all-purpose flour
- 5g baking soda
- 2.5g salt
- 340g chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 175°C. Line baking sheet with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Press the cookie dough evenly into the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set but still slightly soft.
- Let cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
