Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs / 680 g)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) A1 Sauce
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 sandwich rolls (brioche or whole wheat)
- 1 cup (75 g) leaf lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- Additional A1 Sauce for serving
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine A1 Sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until blended.
- Add chicken breasts to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove marinated chicken from the fridge and discard excess marinade. Place chicken on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Cut sandwich rolls in half and toast on the grill for about 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Layer lettuce, grilled chicken, tomato slices, and red onion on the bottom half of each roll. Drizzle with additional A1 Sauce, then top with the other half of the roll.
