Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs / 680 g)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) A1 Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 sandwich rolls (brioche or whole wheat)
  • 1 cup (75 g) leaf lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • Additional A1 Sauce for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine A1 Sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until blended.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove marinated chicken from the fridge and discard excess marinade. Place chicken on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Cut sandwich rolls in half and toast on the grill for about 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Layer lettuce, grilled chicken, tomato slices, and red onion on the bottom half of each roll. Drizzle with additional A1 Sauce, then top with the other half of the roll.
