Ingredients:
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp cracked black pepper
- ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions:
- Combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel, then coat all sides of the meat evenly with the seasoning rub.
- Pour the low-sodium chicken broth and extra virgin olive oil into the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer.
- Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours. Avoid opening the lid during the process to maintain steam.
- Use a meat thermometer to verify the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C), then remove the chicken immediately to prevent overcooking.
