Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120g) graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (14 oz) can (396g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (150g) shredded coconut
  • ½ cup (70g) chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
  • ½ cup (90g) butterscotch chips (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the baking dish by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl; mix until fully combined.
  4. Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the baking dish to form the crust.
  5. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust.
  6. Layer chocolate chips, shredded coconut, chopped nuts, and butterscotch chips (if using) over the condensed milk.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
  8. Cool the bars in the pan for at least 10 minutes; then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
