Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 0.33 cup Raw Honey
  • 3 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger, grated
  • 5 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice

Instructions:

  1. Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Heat avocado oil in a large cast iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add shrimp in a single layer. Sear for 90 seconds, flip, and cook for another 60 seconds. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. In the same pan, add honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Stir to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Let the sauce simmer and bubble for 2–3 minutes until it reduces into a thick, syrupy glaze.
  4. Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet along with the fresh lime juice. Toss vigorously for 30-60 seconds to coat every shrimp in the glaze. Serve immediately.
