Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (230g) mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp (30g) sweet pickle relish
  • 1.5 tbsp (22g) yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp (5g) white vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp (2.5g) onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp (2.5g) garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp (2.5g) sweet paprika
  • 0.25 tsp (1.5g) fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. In a small glass mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, and yellow mustard. Use a spatula to fold the ingredients together until the yellow mustard is completely incorporated and the base is a uniform pale yellow.
  2. Sprinkle the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and salt over the wet mixture. Add the white vinegar. Whisk vigorously for 30–60 seconds until a velvety, salmon-colored emulsion forms with no visible dry clumps.
  3. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the dehydrated spices to rehydrate and the flavors to meld.
