Ingredients:

  • 3 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups Granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp Baking powder
  • ½ tsp Fine sea salt
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups Whole milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined to ensure a tender crumb.
  3. Prepare the cinnamon swirl mixture.
  4. Spread the cake batter evenly into the prepared pan. Dollop the cinnamon swirl mixture over the top. Use a knife or small spatula to swirl the mixture into the batter in a figure-eight pattern.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the center is set and a toothpick comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Prepare the glaze.
