Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. Whisk together the chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Stir vigorously until the color is a uniform, mahogany-red and no clumps of garlic powder remain.
  3. Transfer the completed mix into an airtight glass jar.
  4. Seal tightly and store in a cool, dark pantry to prevent the volatile oils in the spices from oxidizing.
