Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
- Whisk together the chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Stir vigorously until the color is a uniform, mahogany-red and no clumps of garlic powder remain.
- Transfer the completed mix into an airtight glass jar.
- Seal tightly and store in a cool, dark pantry to prevent the volatile oils in the spices from oxidizing.
