- 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano (Mexican preferred)
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Coriander
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
Instructions:
- Measure All Spices: Using measuring spoons, accurately measure the chilli powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, coriander, and cayenne (if using) into a small mixing bowl.
- Combine Thoroughly: Whisk the ingredients vigorously for at least 30 seconds to ensure even distribution and prevent clumps.
- Taste Test (Optional for Blend): Pinch a tiny bit and taste it to check the balance of the seasoning mix.
- Store: Transfer the finished seasoning mix immediately into a clean, airtight storage jar.
- Label: Clearly label the jar with the contents (Homemade Taco Seasoning) and the date it was made.
