  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano (Mexican preferred)
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. Measure All Spices: Using measuring spoons, accurately measure the chilli powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, coriander, and cayenne (if using) into a small mixing bowl.
  2. Combine Thoroughly: Whisk the ingredients vigorously for at least 30 seconds to ensure even distribution and prevent clumps.
  3. Taste Test (Optional for Blend): Pinch a tiny bit and taste it to check the balance of the seasoning mix.
  4. Store: Transfer the finished seasoning mix immediately into a clean, airtight storage jar.
  5. Label: Clearly label the jar with the contents (Homemade Taco Seasoning) and the date it was made.
