Ingredients:
- 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder (mild or medium)
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
- 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano (Mexican preferred)
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (or to taste)
Instructions:
- Carefully measure all spices (Chili Powder through Cayenne Pepper) into a small mixing bowl. Use level measures for accuracy.
- Whisk all the measured spices vigorously for at least 30 seconds until the colour is uniform and there are no clumps of a single spice visible.
- Taste test the mixture by rubbing a tiny pinch between your fingers (this helps you gauge the heat level).
- Transfer the finished blend into your airtight jar and label clearly with the contents and date.
