- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tbsp melted butter
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking dish with butter.
- Shred the imitation crab using a box grater or by pulsing briefly in a food processor until it reaches a coarse shred consistency.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the mayonnaise, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Fold the shredded crab, diced onion, and minced celery into the cream cheese mixture until it forms a thick, cohesive paste with no white streaks remaining.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Top the casserole with a layer of shredded Swiss and Mozzarella cheese, then brush the top with 1 tablespoon of melted butter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the cheese topping is mahogany-colored.
