Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs (680g) Brussels Sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 Tablespoons (45 ml) Olive Oil, extra virgin
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) Kosher Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25 ml) Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) Balsamic Vinegar, good quality
  • 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) Maple Syrup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and halve them lengthwise.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut-side up.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender and nicely browned.
  6. While the sprouts are roasting, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup in a small bowl.
  7. Remove the sprouts from the oven and drizzle the balsamic glaze over them. Toss gently to coat.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
