Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs (680g) Brussels Sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 Tablespoons (45 ml) Olive Oil, extra virgin
- ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) Kosher Salt
- ¼ teaspoon (1.25 ml) Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) Balsamic Vinegar, good quality
- 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) Maple Syrup
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and halve them lengthwise.
- In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut-side up.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender and nicely browned.
- While the sprouts are roasting, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup in a small bowl.
- Remove the sprouts from the oven and drizzle the balsamic glaze over them. Toss gently to coat.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
