Ingredients:
- 4 fl oz (118 ml) Elmer's White School Glue (or clear glue)
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Baking Soda
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Contact Lens Solution (containing boric acid and sodium borate)
- Gel food coloring (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
- Optional: Glitter (various colors and sizes)
Instructions:
- Pour the entire bottle of Elmer's glue into the mixing bowl.
- Stir in the baking soda until well combined.
- Slowly add the contact lens solution, stirring constantly. Start with half, then add more gradually until the slime starts to pull away from the bowl and forms a cohesive ball.
- Knead the slime with your hands until it becomes smooth and less sticky. If it's still too sticky, add a few drops more contact lens solution.
- Divide the slime into six equal portions.
- Add a tiny drop of food coloring to each portion of slime and knead until the color is evenly distributed. Add glitter and knead.
- Gently twist and swirl the different colored slimes together to create a rainbow effect.
- Store the slime in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out.
