Ingredients:
- Gin (London Dry or similar): 2.5 oz (75 ml)
- Dry Vermouth: 0.5 oz (15 ml)
- Lemon Twist: 1 strip (or Olives/Cocktail Onions)
- Optional: Orange Bitters: 1-2 dashes
Instructions:
- Chill martini glass in the freezer for 15 minutes or fill with ice and water.
- Chill gin/vodka and vermouth in the freezer for 15 minutes (optional).
- Combine gin/vodka and vermouth in a cocktail shaker or mixing glass with ice. Add optional bitters.
- Stir gently for 20-30 seconds (stirred) or shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds (shaken).
- Remove ice from the chilled martini glass.
- Strain the mixture into the martini glass using a strainer. Fine-strain optional.
- Garnish with a lemon twist, olives, or cocktail onions.
- Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly!
