Ingredients:

  • Gin (London Dry or similar): 2.5 oz (75 ml)
  • Dry Vermouth: 0.5 oz (15 ml)
  • Lemon Twist: 1 strip (or Olives/Cocktail Onions)
  • Optional: Orange Bitters: 1-2 dashes

Instructions:

  1. Chill martini glass in the freezer for 15 minutes or fill with ice and water.
  2. Chill gin/vodka and vermouth in the freezer for 15 minutes (optional).
  3. Combine gin/vodka and vermouth in a cocktail shaker or mixing glass with ice. Add optional bitters.
  4. Stir gently for 20-30 seconds (stirred) or shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds (shaken).
  5. Remove ice from the chilled martini glass.
  6. Strain the mixture into the martini glass using a strainer. Fine-strain optional.
  7. Garnish with a lemon twist, olives, or cocktail onions.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly!
