Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken or seafood broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, melt unsalted butter and olive oil over medium heat until bubbly.
  2. Add finely chopped onion, and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Pour in lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and broth. Stir well to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Season with salt and pepper as needed. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Remove from heat; garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with your seafood of choice.
