Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken or seafood broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, melt unsalted butter and olive oil over medium heat until bubbly.
- Add finely chopped onion, and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Pour in lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and broth. Stir well to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Season with salt and pepper as needed. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat; garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with your seafood of choice.
