Ingredients:
- 12 oz white chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 drop green food coloring
- 1 cup Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/4 cup candy canes, crushed
Instructions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang for easy lifting.
- Break Oreo cookies into irregular chunks, keeping a mix of 1/2 inch pieces and fine crumbs.
- Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe glass bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring vigorously between sessions. Stop when 90% melted and let residual heat melt the remainder.
- Stir in the peppermint extract and green food coloring until the color is uniform.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment paper and spread to a thickness of 1/4 inch using a spatula.
- Immediately press the crushed Oreos and peppermint candies into the surface of the chocolate.
- Chill in the freezer for 60-80 minutes until the bark is firm and snaps when pressed.
