Ingredients:

  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 drop green food coloring
  • 1 cup Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup candy canes, crushed

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang for easy lifting.
  2. Break Oreo cookies into irregular chunks, keeping a mix of 1/2 inch pieces and fine crumbs.
  3. Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe glass bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring vigorously between sessions. Stop when 90% melted and let residual heat melt the remainder.
  4. Stir in the peppermint extract and green food coloring until the color is uniform.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment paper and spread to a thickness of 1/4 inch using a spatula.
  6. Immediately press the crushed Oreos and peppermint candies into the surface of the chocolate.
  7. Chill in the freezer for 60-80 minutes until the bark is firm and snaps when pressed.
