Ingredients:
- 2 cups (240 g) whole corn (dried)
- 1 cup (120 g) wheat (whole grain)
- 1 cup (150 g) oats (rolled or whole)
- 1 cup (120 g) sunflower seeds (unsalted)
- 1/2 cup (25 g) dried mealworms (optional, for protein)
- 2 cups (200 g) chopped greens (spinach, kale, or similar)
- 1/4 cup (60 g) crushed oyster shells (for calcium)
- 1/4 cup (60 g) flaxseed (for healthy fats)
Instructions:
- Wash and chop greens into small pieces; if needed, use a food processor for finer texture.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine whole corn, wheat, oats, sunflower seeds, mealworms (if using), and flaxseed. Mix well.
- Fold in the chopped greens until evenly distributed throughout the dry mix.
- Add crushed oyster shells to the mix and stir thoroughly.
- Transfer the mixed feed to a clean, airtight storage container to keep it fresh for up to 4 weeks.
