Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (240 g) whole corn (dried)
  • 1 cup (120 g) wheat (whole grain)
  • 1 cup (150 g) oats (rolled or whole)
  • 1 cup (120 g) sunflower seeds (unsalted)
  • 1/2 cup (25 g) dried mealworms (optional, for protein)
  • 2 cups (200 g) chopped greens (spinach, kale, or similar)
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) crushed oyster shells (for calcium)
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) flaxseed (for healthy fats)

Instructions:

  1. Wash and chop greens into small pieces; if needed, use a food processor for finer texture.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine whole corn, wheat, oats, sunflower seeds, mealworms (if using), and flaxseed. Mix well.
  3. Fold in the chopped greens until evenly distributed throughout the dry mix.
  4. Add crushed oyster shells to the mix and stir thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the mixed feed to a clean, airtight storage container to keep it fresh for up to 4 weeks.
