Ingredients:

  • 4 ears of fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Zest of 1 lime (optional)
  • Chopped fresh herbs (e.g., parsley, cilantro) (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Husk and clean the corn, removing all silk.
  3. Spread softened butter evenly over each ear of corn using a pastry brush or your hands.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings you desire.
  5. Wrap each ear of corn individually in aluminum foil.
  6. Place the wrapped corn on a baking sheet.
  7. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.
  8. Remove from oven, unwrap, and serve hot. Enjoy with additional toppings if desired!
