Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup (90g) panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Wash and thoroughly dry the green beans. Ensure they are trimmed.
- Place the flour in the first shallow dish, the beaten eggs in the second, and the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in the third. Mix the breadcrumb mixture well.
- Dredge each green bean in the flour, then dip it in the egg, and finally coat it evenly with the breadcrumb mixture. Gently press to help the breadcrumbs adhere.
- Place the breaded green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the breaded green beans.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
