Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats (90g)
- 2 cups milk (480ml) - dairy or plant-based (almond, oat, etc.)
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds (30g)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (30g)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
- 1 medium banana, sliced
- 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, approx. 150g)
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (60g)
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts or seeds (almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, approx. 30g)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chia seeds, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract.
- Pour in the milk and stir until well mixed.
- Add selected fruits or yogurt, stirring gently to combine.
- Divide the mixture evenly into mason jars or airtight containers.
- Seal and place in the refrigerator overnight (at least 6 hours).
- The next morning, give the oats a good stir and top with extra fruits or nuts if desired.
