Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats (90g)
  • 2 cups milk (480ml) - dairy or plant-based (almond, oat, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds (30g)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (30g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, approx. 150g)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (60g)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts or seeds (almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, approx. 30g)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chia seeds, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract.
  2. Pour in the milk and stir until well mixed.
  3. Add selected fruits or yogurt, stirring gently to combine.
  4. Divide the mixture evenly into mason jars or airtight containers.
  5. Seal and place in the refrigerator overnight (at least 6 hours).
  6. The next morning, give the oats a good stir and top with extra fruits or nuts if desired.
