Ingredients:
- 4 ears of fresh corn on the cob, husked and silk removed (about 6-8 inches long)
- Water (enough to cover the corn, if boiling)
- Optional: Salt, pepper, butter, other desired seasonings
Instructions:
- Husk the corn and remove as much silk as possible. A clean toothbrush helps remove stubborn strands.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the corn. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until kernels are tender-crisp. Remove with tongs and drain.
- Preheat grill to medium heat. Lightly brush corn with oil (optional). Grill for 10-15 minutes, turning frequently, until kernels are slightly charred and tender.
- Wrap each ear of corn in a damp paper towel. Microwave on high for 3-5 minutes per ear, depending on wattage. Let cool slightly before unwrapping.
- Add butter, salt, pepper, or any desired seasonings. Serve immediately and enjoy!
