Ingredients:
- 2 cups (400g) Jasmine Rice
- 2 1/4 cups (530ml) Water
- 1/2 teaspoon (3g) Salt (optional)
Instructions:
- Place the jasmine rice in a fine-mesh sieve and rinse under cold running water until the water runs clear.
- Add the rinsed rice, water, and salt (if using) to a medium-sized saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan tightly, and simmer for 15 minutes. Do not lift the lid.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it sit, covered, for 10 minutes.
- Gently fluff the rice with a fork and serve immediately.
