Instructions:
- In a saucepan, whisk together the hemp hearts, flax meal, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt. Ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed to prevent clumping.
- Pour in the almond milk and water. Whisk continuously for about 30 seconds to fully incorporate the dry mix. Place the saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently. Reduce the heat to low. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for 5 to 7 minutes until the porridge visibly thickens as the chia and flax absorb the liquid.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat entirely. Stir in the heavy cream, keto sweetener, and vanilla extract. Taste and adjust the sweetness or add an extra pinch of cinnamon if desired. Let the porridge rest off-heat for 2 minutes—it will continue to thicken slightly upon standing.
- Divide the hot porridge into bowls. Garnish immediately with your preferred low-carb toppings (such as berries or nuts) and serve warm.
