Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat until melted.
  2. Add minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute (do not brown).
  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and cook for an additional 30 seconds to release the flavors.
  4. Gradually pour in the heavy cream, whisking to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and serve immediately over your choice of pasta or protein.
