Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat until melted.
- Add minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute (do not brown).
- Stir in the Cajun seasoning and cook for an additional 30 seconds to release the flavors.
- Gradually pour in the heavy cream, whisking to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and serve immediately over your choice of pasta or protein.
