Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) Strong Brewed Coffee or 2 shots Espresso
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Chocolate Syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
- 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) Heavy Cream (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar (optional)
- 1/8 teaspoon Peppermint Extract (optional)
- Crushed Peppermint Candies (optional)
- Chocolate shavings (optional)
- Cocoa Powder (optional)
Instructions:
- Gently warm the milk in a saucepan over medium heat or in a microwave-safe bowl until steaming but not boiling.
- In your mug, combine the brewed coffee (or espresso), chocolate syrup, peppermint extract, and sugar.
- Pour the warm milk into the mug. If desired, froth the milk separately and spoon the foam on top of the mocha.
- In a small bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and peppermint extract until stiff peaks form (optional).
- Top with peppermint whipped cream, crushed peppermint candies, chocolate shavings, or a dusting of cocoa powder (optional). Serve immediately and enjoy!
