Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups baking mix
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the ground breakfast sausage, softened cream cheese, baking mix, and shredded cheddar into a mixer bowl.
- Using a dough hook, beat on low speed for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture is a homogeneous dough and no white streaks of cream cheese remain.
- Scoop approximately 1 tablespoon of mixture and roll between palms into 1-inch balls.
- Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet about an inch apart.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until the edges are golden-brown and they smell toasted.
